Nope, it's overwhelmingly cultural conditioning. Plenty of cultures all over the world exhibit little to no sexual jealousy or possessiveness. Partible paternity still takes place in lowland South American and parts of Africa, and the Masuo of China look at jealousy as aberrant behavior.
