Obesity provokes self-loathing because we live in a culture that hates and vilifies fat people, even if they are fat due to a medical condition. Lizzo is under no obligation to share her personal medical health conditions with the world or to conform to other people's ideas about what is and is not acceptable as relates to her own body.

I have no issue with people encouraging others to be healthy, but the fact of the matter is, healthy people look all sorts of different ways and it's really not our business to judge others related to personal things about them that we know nothing about.
