Oh hell yes! There seem to be all these guys out there who want to say they are poly but what they really want is to do whatever they want whenever they want with no one saying boo about it. As you've pointed out, that isn't actual polyamory, and overwhelmingly these dudes don't have what it takes to be in a real polyamorous relationship. They don't want to do the communication, the self-reflection, or the level of vulnerability.
