Oh puleeze... in the past 5-6k years (when patriarchy first arose) men prevented women from being full participants in the world. Up until that time, women were big game hunters, etc. because Paleolithic peoples didn't have the luxury of preventing strong and capable workers who happened to be women from participating in the survival of the band.

There was no war until 10k years ago according to the Smithsonian, and most war actually took place in the past 5k years - when patriarchy first arose. There was no "fighting over watering holes" before then. Please educate yourself and stop with these folk tales.

Once wars did become more common, women were quite often soldiers as well - again bc people didn't have the luxury of only allowing men to try to keep Hannibal out of your town or whatever. There were women samurai, trained from childhood just as men were, to protect their family and their clan.

And don't tell me women were always allowed to work, because that's BS. Women have been systematically and sometimes legally prevented from most "professions" until very recently. For example, some states used to bar women from becoming lawyers and the Supreme Court upheld that was OK. This was not reversed until 1971.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
