Oh yes, I remember that very well. I'm 6 feet and 1/2 inches with size 11 feet. That was all well in place by 10th grade. Even back then, boys were constantly lying about their height (in person, bc there was no internet then) and trying to make it seem like I must be 6'4 so their 5'10 could pass for 6. 🙄

I certainly dated men who were shorter than I was bc to not do so would have limited the pool too much, but I did end up marrying a guy who is 6'3" and it is nice to be able to wear heels without worrying that I'm towering over my man.
