Also, as I'm soon going to write a story about, your personal experience isn't necessarily indicative of a larger dynamic. Even if you had asked each woman you wanted to date and they had told you in no uncertain terms they only wanted 666 guys, that has no real bearing on whether women in general only want that. It may be human nature to take what you see around you and generalize it to everyone, but as a social scientist, that doesn't fly. My personal experiences may enter into a story about generalized trends, but only when they are supported by reputable research.
