OK, but that's overwhelmingly not the primary dynamic - as I pointed out in the OP. Women simply speaking from a place of authority is offensive to a lot of men (mostly on a subconscious level) because it goes against deeply engrained sociological dynamics that say that women are supposed to be small, unobtrusive helpers to men, not in charge of them or even on par with them. This is a well-documented phenomenon, and pretending like it's only rude or bossy women who get treated poorly is just a joke.
