As for the escort thing, it’s probably not going to help if you want to settle down and have kids, but it is possible to have a real caring relationship with someone who you pay to spend time with. My husband and I are polyamorous, but we’ve not really had time or bandwidth for dating since we moved to a new city. Instead, we see Tamara (and some of her friends) and we’ve developed real feelings for her, as she has for us.
It seems to me, based on personal experience, that normalizing sex work would be at least somewhat helpful in all of this.
