On a computer, copy the URL from the top of the story and paste it in where you want it to appear using the Edit function. To get it to populate and look like more than just a string of words, press the return key after the end of the pasted in URL.

I don't know much about using Medium on a phone or iPad since I almost never do that, so sorry if no help there.

It takes a while to get the hang of everything.
