One of the downsides of the "sexual revolution" was that men were given the green light to engage with women as consumables rather than as someone to get to know and potentially develop some sort of relationship with. Granted, back then, this relationship had to be serious or marriage in order to get to the sex stage, and I don't want to go back to that, but nowadays "dating" seems to be a kind of euphemism for having sex, when it has the possibility of being so much in addition to that.

I love sex, I love to connect with someone in that way, and I don't believe that men have a different kind of physiological need around that than women do. I do think that they've been socialized to feel that they have the right to act on any feelings of attraction, because after all, that's what women exist for - their pleasure and enjoyment, and if casual sex is now socially acceptable, then that's what they should be doing as much as possible. I think we could calm down on the expected casual sex without going back to the 1950s.

Your dream was definitely hot!

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
