Part of the "deal" in a patriarchal dominance hierarchy is that one is expected to tolerate abuse from those who have more social power and the only redress is to dole it out to those who in turn have less power than you. I'm glad to see this being disrupted because it's a whole social system built around abusiveness. Good for the folks who will no longer tolerate "business as usual" when it entails having to accept unacceptable behavior, and good for you for writing about it.
