Patriarchy is a social system that only arose about 6k years ago. It rapidly spread because it was so disruptive that it drove migration.
And despite other cultures, what about the fact that norms for Western men have been quite different in the past? In addition, most AmerInd cultures were/are not patriarchal but rather egalitarian, with men and women have balanced power and a lot of personal autonomy. Clan mothers have as much power as chiefs, but just in a different arena of the society, and chiefs only serve at their pleasure.
If you're hellbent on clinging to gender indoctrination that is literally killing men and making them miserable, that's certainly your choice, but if you think that artificially suppressing your emotions means you are logical, you're deeply mistaken. It means you are more emotional than people who have good fluency with their emotions and you are simply driven by those feelings from out of your subconscious mind.
There's nothing at all wrong with being a man, but self-identifying with traits you've been forced to embrace that are harmful to you and to the rest of society is like defending the cult you've been indoctrinated into. It's really just kind of sad and your whole passionate defense of it just reeks of insecurity. It’s a whole lotta “prostesting too much.”
And BTW, you started out by calling me a misandrist (for simply stating what is scientifically and sociologically true) so don't try to preach to me about interacting with respect. 🙄
