Patriarchy is not only about men, but that is a central element - the paternity aspect - hence the name. It is a dominance based hierarchy (which takes coercion and violence in order to maintain power) so it's not a secret evil plot by men but at the same time it's not like they have no collective responsibility in continuing and maintaining this power differential, including making up myths as to why it is justified.

Patriarchy doesn't mean men are evil which is what you insist that it means. It's a social system which has a lot of aspects to it, including the ways that women uphold and contribute to this social dynamic. But there are also many ways that men uphold this system too, and have throughout the past 5k years or so. And there are also many ways that this system hurts most men - because it's a pyramid and social stratification is a key element.

So trying to view it as some (clearly not true) slam dunk for the primacy of men and the debasement and disenfranchisement of women is not only too simplistic, it's just plain wrong. But at the same time, we do live in a male-dominated culture, even now. One of the many ways that we know this is that even in movies with a female main character, male characters still almost always have more lines and more screen time. That's just one example, and I'm not going to start a whole new thread about that. If you don't realize and accept that we live in a male-dominated dominance hierarchy culture (which you are welcome to title however you wish) then we might as well just stop talking about it. 🤷‍♀️

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
