Patriarchy is very much a zero-sum construct, so it's not all that surprising that so many men view it this way, but as you pointed out, sitting in the basement bitching and moaning about how it's "unfair" that you are losing so many of your unearned privileges, why not stand up and learn to adapt, you know, like a strong person would do - like a woman would do?
