Polyamory is a possibility, but even monogamous folks can learn to mix it up and keep things interesting. It just takes effort - and not everyone is willing to do that - to their detriment. I've been with my husband for over 30 years and we still have a very good sex life. We see other people as a couple from time to time, but it's mostly just putting focus on keeping the romance and excitement alive.
