Quoting from my OP: "As I’ve already said, I mostly write about the things that I have a personal connection to. That doesn’t mean that I don’t care about how women sometimes prey on men. It just means that isn’t what I mostly focus on, in part because it’s not the largest part of the problem, and in part because I don’t know a lot about that."
Guys who have a problem with that are themselves a problem. It's not my job to write the story that someone else thinks is important, but I nonetheless get regularly told by men that I should have written about them and their experiences - and it's always done as a way to deflect from what I've experienced. Not cool!
