Social dynamics are just that - they don't indicate that each and every person in a particular demographic fits into a pervasive dynamic. That being said, you're right, overwhelmingly married women (much more than simply cohabiting women) do the vast majority of home, child, and elder care - even if they make as much or more than their husbands. This is true in every Western democracy - including the Nordic countries.
