"Religion must never be privileged to hurt people." Why is this still such a difficult concept? We got ourselves to the point where that wasn't an acceptable reason to discriminate based on race, but it's high time that we take it the rest of the way and stop allowing for "sincere religious beliefs" that harm anyone else, particularly LGBTQ+ people.
