Rob Van Winkle (aka Vanilla Ice) now has his own business (and HGTV show) where he and his crew flip mansions in South Florida. He’s not supervising; he’s right in there getting his hands dirty, and showing you when he is using the expertise of a designer or someone else to complement his vision for the property. He comes across as pretty authentic (for someone who is on TV anyway). Maybe he learned something from his earlier years, which he actually seems a bit embarrassed about.
