She is the wife of the Mercedes team boss, and part of the reason she's in the news now is that she's suing FIA over an investigation into whether or not there was a possible conflict of interest in that - that she could be funneling inside tech innovation info to him - so it's not quite as bad as it sounds - her being his wife is a key element of the story, but all the rest of this is just so sad and frustrating. We absolutely need to keep talking about all the things that women have discovered and invented as well as all the women (and non-white people) who have been erased from history so that younger generations can grow up with a more well-rounded understanding of the world.
