She's not off the mark at all, but you do have to learn when and how to show vulnerability in professional situations - which doesn't mean I discount the author's account of how she was treated. Brown works with leaders in law enforcement, Silicon Valley, and the Air Force, as well as many others on this topic, and she's the world-leading expert on this subject.
