So, all of this is essentially about your personal experience with being banned? Look, I know people who have gone to Facebook jail for a few days, or whatever, often for silly things. But the fact remains, a private company does not owe you shit. They can make up whatever stupid rules that they want and if you don't like them, you have the right to go elsewhere.
You are not entitled to use Facebook. Peterson is not entitled to use Twitter. Private companies can ban whomever they what for whatever reasons they want - be they "reasonable" or not. They could decide to ban all people named Kevin if they wanted to and it would be perfectly legal — maybe not great for PR, but legal nonetheless. Peterson thinks he's justified in saying the hateful shit he does, so he shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of that, but that isn't the way the world works, at least not anymore, because it's not 1950 any longer, no matter how much Peterson would like it to be. The sense of entitlement you both have — to do and say whatever you want through any vehicle that you choose, completely unfettered, is mind-boggling.
