How about organizational structures (families, business groups, etc.) that are not run by a tyrannical authority figure but instead operate as a partnership? Lots of businesses are adopting this right now because it's so much more agile to let those closest to the work make most of the decisions, rather than having to run things up the chain of command all of the time. How about using Denmark as a model (one of the countries in the world with the highest standard of living, a robust economy, and a high quotient of happiness?) They teach empathy in school and encourage students to compete against themselves rather than against each other. It's considered not just a social good, but also a managerial/business skill.
