So what you're saying is the 77% of children who are not growing up in a male/female married household are all doomed to dysfunction and substance abuse? Really? As I noted several times, what's ideal is for kids to have both parents and for those parents to be supporting and loving - but in the absence of that, kids can still be OK if they get the kinds of supports they need to thrive ... you know, like George Washington and Barack Obama did.
