Some men don’t like women who speak up against the status quo, although it is somewhat bizarre to me how many men are deeply enraged by the idea that for most of human history we lived a largely peaceful and egalitarian existence — that patriarchy is less than 10 K years old. I think it somehow rocks their sense of self that it hasn’t always been like this. Definitely, I need to write something about that soon.
