Someone should be prosecuted and/or sued for this alone. Any adults who are influencing children without their parent's knowledge or consent are in the wrong, particularly when it ends up leading to their death.

This whole thing would have an air of absurd comedy if it didn't have such drastic and deadly repurcussions.
