Spending too much time with other men swamped in these same false narratives isn't helpful. A lot of women do prefer a taller man - but also, lots of short men have partners. Women are no more shallow than men are - and in fact, seem to often be quite a bit less so. Most women are a lot more interested in a guy's character and personality than they are how he compares to their favorite movie stars. Most men care A LOT about looks - much more than women do, beyond basic good grooming, flattering haircut, and clothes that work for the man's body type. But a large part of that attractions is confidence - the sort that comes from really liking yourself and owning what you have to offer. That's where I recommend that you put most of your efforts - into creating a life that you find fun and interesting for yourself - and then letting the vibe from that be what attracts women, because it truly will. Self-pity and victimhood has a stench to it that women can smell a mile away and it's the ultimate turn-off.
Hang in there, my friend.
