You've apparently completely missed the central thesis of Martin's book, which Christopher Ryan encapsulates in his recommendation of it - "For centuries, men have been telling the story of female sexuality. Unsurprisingly, it was riddled with condescension, bias, and sheer ignorance." The only "progress" women need to made in their sexuality is to stop believing all the bullshit that a patriarchal culture has taught them about it.

And don't try laying at my feet the things that other people say or write. It’s another tactic of people who are run by their emotions. I stand by the things that I express, and nothing else.
