I read an article the other day that really hit a nerve for me. There were just so many things that were factually wrong, didn’t make sense, or hadn’t been thoroughly thought out. It sparked three “rebuttal” pieces that came together quickly over just a few days time. They explore the ways that we know that bias and discrimination has been consciously chosen over and over again, the irrelevance of intent in the face of negative outcomes, and the importance of dealing with somebody as an individual and not a representative of some tribe.
