Stratification and class systems (including racism, but also sexism, homophobia, etc.) are all the by-products of a patriarchal dominance-hierarchy based system, and that is only 10,000 years old. Before that, anthropology and archeology support that humans lived in egalitarian and cooperative communities (for 97% of history).

I truly believe that the main attraction of Trump is that he stands for a reversion to the America of 50 years ago where people “knew their place” in this highly stratified and class-based system.
