Sure, but at the same time you have to recognize that there is still significant pushback and price to pay for doing that in many circles. A lot of men don't like or respect women who are "too forward" or "too masculine" in their approach to getting together. Some do, to be sure, but saying that women should be more aggressive is only one part of the equation and it's once again making women responsible for changing this dynamic while leaving men out of the equation. Men don't have to be better people because women should just change to fix things. I know that's not the perspective you are intending, but it is kind of the result of your suggestion.
