Taking this personally is inappropriate. You've centered yourself in the narrative rather than actually focusing on the people (women) who are being harmed.

Men commit over 90% of all violence - some of it against other men. We live in a rape culture. Unless you are actively working to change those things, you are allowing them to exist by turning a blind eye.

Nobody hates you. You are not the center of the Universe. But masculinity is problematic as it is currently constructed. This isn't the same in all cultures. We can do better. Help be a part of the solution rather than being a part of the problem.
