Thank you and I find it baffling as well. Where did this pervasive belief come from, I wonder. It seems to be rooted in a very white, heterosexual, gender divided 1950s on steroids, but what makes people believe that was a timeless dynamic? I just don't get it. Maybe because it was the first real era of television? It's crazy!
