I don't really understand why the trans woman had to mention her penis, but given that she then left and didn't say or do anything else threatening, it was a huge overreaction to make such a big deal about this. The fact that Sampson then complained about not having enough "gendered" glasses pretty much indicates what was really going on here.

As you noted, the vast majority of sexual violence is perpetrated by cishet men that the woman knows.

Edit: It’s come to my attention that the trans women said, “I’m going to wipe my hands on my jeans,” which makes a lot of sense. Sampson needs to get a grip…
