Thank you for your condolences and you have mine in return. I get the part about not being so literal but the final line was an exhortation to "love selflessly" and I do have a problem with that phrase because the messaging for women is already that they should put themselves last. I don't like seeing that reinforced - and under the guise that if you don't do that, you'll regret it later no less. It's the kind of cultural messaging that seems innocuous and even positive, but really is just reinforcing harmful gender norms. At least that's the way I see it.
