Thanks and not really — I think that it’s a philosophical thing that reasonable people can disagree upon. My point is that this is irrelevant. American legal precedent says you cannot be forced to forgo your own body autonomy in order to be made to save someone else’s life. Roe is a part of that cannon — it’s based largely on the 14th amendment’s due process and privacy standards.
If Roe gets overturned, it will have an unintentional ripple effect into how other unrelated elements of the 14th amendment are interpreted, which is one of the reasons I don’t think the USSC will ever grant cert and will instead leave it to the lower courts to decide.
