Thanks for sharing that, although I'm not surprised at their reaction, which is kind of what I'd expect, but also agree with you that it's discriminatory and straight out of the 1950s. I can understand the military wanting to limit the things that soldiers could potentially be blackmailed over, but if you're openly poly/consensually non-monogamous, that part is clearly not at issue.
