Thanks for sharing that and I agree that it's a positive thing that this is now common enough that actual terms are emerging. I actually didn't realize that Kitchen Table Poly was a relatively recent term (until I was looking for some quotes), since it's only in the past 6 years or so that we've been non-monogmous. I think it says a lot about the evolution of polyamory.
Technically, metamours are partners that your partner is not also sexually or romantically involved with, so threesomes and foursomes aren't true metas, but it's a very similar concept.
