Thanks for so deeply taking this piece of Shannon’s to heart Mike. You had wondered if it was written to address my particular experience and I don’t believe it was. This dynamic is just pervasive, so such a story is always timely.

Your writing in support of me and some of the bullying I’ve endured here on Medium is unbelievably warming and healing to my heart. And, it is the perfect counterpoint to all of the dismissal and discounting of women’s voices that happens too often in the world.
