Thanks for the shout out. The restrictive roles and parameters of the Man Box (otherwise known as the societal constructs of patriarchy) do hurt men, women, and society as a whole. Mainstream feminism seeks to address that, as do organizations like The Good Men Project and writers like Mark Greene (follow him on Medium for more about the Man Box).

I wholeheartedly support men sharing their stories of the way that this social system has constricted them and hurt them. A few years ago I asked men on Medium to share their stories of the way that culturally constructed ideas of who they should be had affected them, but I can't seem to find it right now. If I do locate it, I'll add it here.
