Thanks for the shout out. My husband's last boss very openly held this view, and it used to really piss me off. As I said yesterday, the notion that women are on earth to make men's lives easier and more enjoyable is far from dead, and this is just another manifestation of it.

The picture of the Buttigiegs with their new babies is quite sweet and touching. The look so happy and in love. It's just another one of the ways that patriarchy harms men to code child rearing as "women's work" and to shame and belittle men who actually want to be a meaningful part of their children's lives.
