Thanks for the stats on this. I think it speaks to gender norms and expectations for sure.

My friend who lives in Canada was telling me just the other day about a girl she grew up with who was groped and sexualized by a male gym teacher - something he did to a lot of the girls, but when she reported him, she was the one who was expelled. This was thirty years ago, but it's still shocking. We definitely don't need any sort of predators doing this stuff to kids, but there's a long history of male teachers getting away with this sort of thing.
