Thanks for this James Finn. It clearly outlines why we never went back to the hunger-gatherer lifestyle en masse even though it was in so many ways a much better one. I actually only learned about this in the past couple of months. It’s yet another example of the cultural narrative most of us were exposed to being wrong.
