When I first read Lakoff's book, it was like a lightbulb went on for me about how and why social conservatives (who look crazy and sometimes evil to me a lot of the time) feel justified in their views and think people like me are the crazy ones. Although I get how their framework makes sense to them, I really wanted to go deeper into how problematic and anti-scientific it is.
