That IS fascinating, and probably due to the fact that getting people hurt or killed because you can’t admit to being wrong is a terrible way to run an operation. But good to hear.
I went to high school with the guy who led the Tora Bora mission to try to capture Bin Laden. He said that in Delta Force it was part of the debrief after a mission to call yourself out on what you did wrong or could have done better — once again because lives were more important than egos.
