That quote is from an internationally famous book that has been translated into 27 languages. It was also published in the early 80s. They used to teach that about Columbus in schools. That’s what I learned — evidently he did too. The fact that is was not factually true doesn’t belie that. It’s a kind of euphamism in this instance. I stand by all of my citations and research because they echo tons of other similar conclusions not cited here. What’s truly incompetent is you attacking that without any similar expert or scientific backing or evidence — just your say so.

Your one widely discredited book doesn’t count as scientific or as evidence. I already told you that Peter Gray is an anthropologist and the other guy you disagreed with is also an established scientist. That doesn’t mean you have to agree with their conclusions but since they are professionals and you are not in that field, you’re going to have to do a little better than “that’s stupid, you are incompetent” in order to demonstrate why you believe that a different conclusion is more appropriate.

If you want to learn now to get back to a more cooperative, egalitarian society, check out The Center For Partnership Studies. Peter Block has also written quite a bit about how to apply partnership models to businesses and organizations. His book Stewardship is one of these.

I am now done with this conversation and will not be engaging with it any further unless you have some kind of actual civil dialogue that you wish to pursue. I’ve not seen you be civil yet, so I’m gonna guess that we are likely concluded.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
