That's 100% internalized misogyny. All of that is. We've grown up in this culture too and are swimming in the same ocean of it. Just because we balk at parts of it doesn't mean we have necessarily risen above the programming that's been handed to us since day one on earth.

Traumatized people make choices that don't always make sense to us. Opining that women actually prefer to be brutalized is misogynistic in the extreme, and I recommend that you don't say that anymore, because it is incredibly hateful and insensitive.
