That's all well and good, except that rather than immediately saying that you misspoke and "here's what I really intended" you attacked me for "making assumptions about you" when anyone reading those words would have thought the exact some thing because you literally spent an entire paragraph equating murdering King with cancel culture. If I polled 100 people, believe me 100 would have drawn the same conclusion. You then spent another couple of exchanges doubling down on how it was my fault for making assumptions about you.
Finally, about 4 comments in, after I repeatedly fed your own words back to you, then and only then did you express any regret for saying them, but still went on to qualify that I was still also at fault. In fact, you're still telling me that what I'm doing is wrong simply for not letting you off the hook for attempting to shirk responsibility for this. The only bad actor here is you.
If you've said something in error or that didn't come across as you intended, clean that up right away - not just when you've been pinned to the wall with your own words and you have no other option and not by first attacking the other person for not reading your mind. That's how you get the benefit of the doubt.
I'm quite sure that you still will not take this to heart or indeed learn anything so I'm out.
