That's BS and you know it. If someone writes a story about raising a child with autism, other people don't come out of the woodwork and leave comments saying, "Well, having a child with cancer is worse. Why aren't you writing about that?"

Hijacking someone else's story to say "what about MEEEEE!" is not putting anything into context. It's saying, "Stop thinking about yourself and your problems and put the focus back where it belongs." It's petty and fragile and there's no excuse for it.
