That's exactly what patriarchy does - all of those things, because it is not just about a historic power differential between men and women, it's an entire system of stratification and social Darwinism where might makes right and only the most ruthless succeed.
There are no reasonable counter arguments to the existence of patriarchy because it's a sociological fact. Our society is built around a dominance hierarchy, which is what patriarchy is. Read the story below for more, or any of the other 30 or so stories I've written (some of which I thought you'd already read) which discuss how the patriarchy harms men, women, and society as a whole. I have a tag on Inside of Elle Beau which lists them all, and each one is written from the basis of anthropology, sociology, history, etc.
"But with the onset of patriarchy (about 6-9K years ago), not only are women controlled by men in a way that they hadn’t been before, but the strong have power over anyone who is less so and a kind of feudal system emerges. A relatively small number of elites ostensibly protect, but also control a larger number of highly stratified classes, with the most powerless and the poorest making up the widest part of the pyramid.
“Patriarchy is generally not an explicit ongoing effort by men to dominate women. It is a long-standing system that we are born into and participate in, mostly unconsciously.”
Not only are women to be (consciously or subconsciously) dominated, but any individuals or classes of people that are deemed to be weaker or inferior will be because it is a zero-sum system. If you don’t win, you lose, and so it’s imperative to always try to appear to be the dominant one in any interpersonal interaction. Racism is a form of patriarchy. So is homophobia. So is garden variety bullying."
